Welcome to the norfolktextiles.co.uk website terms and conditions for use. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.norfolktextiles.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us.
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Website. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.
We aim to post most orders in 1-3 working days. As a rule of thumb, most small parcels are sent by 1st class post, and larger parcels by courier on a 48 hour delivery service. Please note however, that these delivery and dispatch times cannot be guaranteed. If you need your purchase by a particular time please email to check. Please also note that these dispatch times can be superseded by any times given in individual product descriptions.
Parcels sent by courier have to be signed for unless the customer gives us other instructions. In this case it is left at the customers risk and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to check for any damages to packing materials and product before accepting delivery of the products, and to report any damage by the delivery company within 48 hours. If there is any damage, please DO NOT accept delivery or sign the delivery sheet; instead ask the driver for a damaged freight report which will need your signature. Contact us as soon as possible. Goods are not covered by transit insurance once you have accepted delivery.

2.2 Our acceptance of an order takes place when we process the order. We will send you a processing confirmation by email. When we process the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

2.4 Please check your goods as soon as they arrive and notify us immediately should there be a problem. All faults, incorrect orders or damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt of delivery.
2.5 Information regarding prices or stock availability found on any site or search engine other than our own website cannot be guaranteed to be accurate or up to date. If in doubt please contact us.
3.1 All prices are inclusive of vat where applicable.
3.2 Packing and carriage charges will be shown when you put your goods in the cart and choose the appropriate postage option. You are not comitted to buying at this stage.
3.3 Our prices are reviewed periodically.
4. Cancellation and Returns Policy
4.1 If you wish to cancel your order: (a) you must notify us by email to email@example.com before we have dispatched the goods to you; or (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 4.2 below.
4.2 You can return goods you have ordered from us (unless included in Exceptions below) at any time within 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange, less Post and Packaging/Shipping and Handling costs of 10%. You must notify us beforehand by email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to return your goods. Goods must, insofar as is possible, be returned in their original packaging, or equivalent. Unauthorised returns will not be credited to the customer's account. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. Claims for labour charges will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Exceptions to the returns policy are full rolls of fabric which will incur a standard charge of 25% or a minimum charge of £20.
The rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances: - in the event that the product has been used or cut, and to any products that we have made or customised specifically for you.
Customisation includes cut lengths of oilcloth or fabric. In this case returns are not accepted unless the wrong order has been sent or there is a fault. We offer a sampling service for most of our fabrics and oilcloths to help you choose correctly.
Wallpaper and cut lengths of fabric and oilcloth We are unable to accept returns on part orders of wallpaper, cut lengths of fabric or oilcloth.
Regarding fabric and oilcloth and wallcoverings. It is a characteristic of natural textiles and oilcloth that there will be variations in the weave, colour and texture including occasional slubs and as such claims for irregularities will not be accepted under any circumstances. To ensure exact colour matching it is advised to order quantities required for future use at one time. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy of colours, because of the limitations of the printing process, variations may occur and colours may not always be exact. The sample you order may come from a different batch to the material you receive. If an exact match is required, please ask for a sample from the batch you are about to purchase.
A shrinkage rate of 5% is deemed acceptable for fabric and washable oilcloth.
Once cut or handed on to a third party we cannot accept responsibility for any errors which occasionally do occur. This condition supersedes any conflicting term submitted to us, and all other liability whether statutory or otherwise is excluded.
We strongly recommend that any fabric is checked before cutting.
Fitness for purpose: the buyer must satisfy themselves that any product supplied by Norfolk Textiles is fit for the purpose for which it is purchased before ordering.
